New DB130 Advance solid carbide micro drill from Walter delivers maximum precision

Suitable for a wide range of applications, the DB130 Advance features a special grade of micro-grain carbide for high-precision.

Walter has introduced the DB130 Advance, its smallest solid carbide micro drill with diameters from just 0.004 to 0.06 in. (0.1 mm to 1.45 mm). With a point angle of 118° and cylindrical shank, the drill meets DIN 1899 standards.

About DB130 Advance

The new DB130 Advance delivers high precision and process reliability, thanks in large part to its micro-grain carbide…a special grade that enables optimum cutting-edge formation for high-precision applications. Due to its large standard range, the DB130 Advance solid carbide drill can be used universally in a wide range of ISO applications from steels and stainless to super alloys and hardened materials.

This new micro drill can find ready application in industries such as; general machining, watchmaking, automotive and food as well as in die and mold. For diameters of 0.02 in. (0.5 mm) and above, the Walter DB133 Supreme solid carbide drill can be used.
