Durable Technologies Names Matt Martin to Director Position

Durable Technologies, the leader in marking and identification solutions, recently announced that Matt Martin has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing. Martin will be responsible for the design and implementation of sales and marketing programs and initiatives corporate-wide.  He also will evaluate and align the business development and marketing communications programs for each of Durable Technologies independent divisions — VisiMark, Inc., Durable Mecco, and Durable Machine — in support of the overall mission and vision of the organization.

“When Matt joined VisiMark five years ago, I knew he would be a vital contributor to our future plans,” said Kari Lunden, President & CEO of Durable Technologies.  “By streamlining the sales and marketing functions of our businesses, and appointing Matt to his new position, he will directly impact our growth strategies.  I am confident that Matt will continue to be a valuable asset to our company and to our customers.”

Martin began his tenure at the company as a sales representative and rose to branch sales manager where he was responsible for sales and marketing at VisiMark, Inc. on a division level. A resident of Millbury, MA, Martin is a graduate of Framingham State University.

His promotion closely follows Durable’s announcement that the company altered its corporate infrastructure and its strategic direction by aligning its three marking companies —VisiMark, Inc.,  Durable Mecco, and Durable Machine — under the Durable Technologies umbrella to leverage their combined experience and expertise.
