Continental Introduces Line of Extended Life Constant Pressure Spiral Hydraulic Hose at MINExpo
- Three new hoses for the North American market
- Ideal for abrasive applications such as mining, construction, agriculture
Continental has introduced at MINExpo 2016 three new series of Constant Pressure Spiral hoses to expand their hydraulic product offering in the high-pressure hose range.
The Constant Pressure Spiral hoses are XCP4S, XCP5S and the XCP6S. “These are for use primarily in very high pressure hydraulic applications that require extra abrasion resistance,” said Randy Kish, manager of distributor marketing for industrial hose and hydraulics. “These hoses have excellent impulse performance and flexibility which are ideal for mining equipment and feature the Extended Life extra abrasion resistant cover to meet the robust demands of the industry.”
The hoses have a polychloroprene inner tube and are reinforced with four or six alternating layers of spiraled high-tensile steel wire. The synthetic rubber cover provides Extended Life, extra abrasion-resistance and is oil and weather resistant. It is operable between -40 degrees (F) to 250 degrees (F).
