The Right Sawing System for Every Application
At the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS), which will be held from 1 to 5 November 2016 in the Chinese city of Shanghai, KASTO will be presenting its innovative sawing technology for the metalworking industry. In Hall 3H, stand number D012, the German company will introduce visitors to its KASTOwin range of versatile, multipurpose, automatic band saws, the semi-automatic KASTOvertical band saw for longitudinal cutting and many other solutions.
The KASTOwin series is a flexible, universal solution for serial and production sawing of solid materials, tubes and sections. The automatic band saws feature a comprehensive range of standard equipment and excellent value for money. They cover a cutting range from 330 to 1,060 mm, and the KASTOwin A 4.6, with a cutting range of 460 mm, will be shown live in action at the MWCS. The machines are suitable for use in areas such as mechanical engineering, tool-making, the steel and automotive industries and aerospace engineering. With their great versatility they offer efficient, standardised solutions for a wide range of customers. The KASTOwin has recently also become available with a moveable material support table for heavy workpieces and in a special version for machining tubular material.
KASTO will also be displaying its KASTOvertical semi-automatic vertical band sawing machine for longitudinal cutting. It can cut square or flat materials with different cross sections from rolled blocks or rolled plates. A moveable material support table ensures fast and safe handling of heavy workpieces. The cutting speed and feed rate are continuously adjustable, and it has a cutting range of 600 millimetres. The sawband guide, with pre-tensioned carbide glide guides, has a quick release for fast blade changes. The KASTOvertical is also equipped with KASTO BasicControl for intuitive operation.
