The WAL-ML-RPS-4XWP60E Mini light tower is a portable lighting system designed for stand alone operation and high mobility while providing enough output to illuminate approximately 2 acres of area effectively. Equipped with a heavy duty adjustable height tower, sealed lead acid batteries, and four 60 watt high output LED lamps, this mini tower provides operators with an easily deployed lighting system that can provide large scale illumination for up to 12 hours on a single charge.
This portable LED lighting system is comprised of two adjustable LED light heads mounted atop a telescoping mini light tower mounted to a wheeled cart base. This adjustable and collapsible tower can be extended to twelve feet, collapsed to seven feet, and includes four wheels allow the operator simply roll the entire assembly to a new location when fully deployed. The LED light fixture assembly can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the center support, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted vertically and locked into position.
The WAL-ML-RPS-4XWP60E mini light tower features an extendable tower assembly that can be adjusted from 7 to 12 feet in height for maximum coverage. A single hand crank allows operators to easily raise or lower the tower as needed, and a removable lamp mounting platform allows removal of the lamp assembly for easier transport and storage. The tower is constructed of heavy gauge steel for durability, and a tough powder coat finish provides protection against rust and corrosion. The base of the tower is fitted with two solid wheels to allow easy positioning; the operator can simply tilt the unit back and roll it into the desired location as needed.
Lights: The lighting system on this unit is comprised of four LEDWP-600E 60 watt LED lamps producing 5,400 lumens of light each attached to the top of the mini light tower. The LEDWP-600E LED lights are ideal replacements for fragile and hot running metal halide lamps, offering increased durability, longer lamp life, and lower power consumption. The fixtures are IP68 rated waterproof. The LED assembly is comprised of six LEDs housed within a waterproof aluminum housing that is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion.
The LEDWP-600E LED lights from Larson Electronics that are installed on the WAL-ML-RPS-4XWP60E light tower produce a long flood beam of light while drawing only 0.5 amps at 120V AC. The light assembly consists of six LEDs paired with high purity specular optics to produce a wide light distribution overpowering that of a 500 watt quartz flood lights. This light is constructed of three angled boards that helps provide a wider spread. Instead of the light only shining forward, the center board is concentrated to go straight out while the boards on the side are 45° offset. These LED lights are designed to withstand demanding conditions and are waterproof, vapor proof, and built to resist the damaging effects of an outdoor environment.
The LED light heads on the WAL-ML-RPS-4XWP60E consists of six LEDs housed within a waterproof aluminum housing that is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion. The housing incorporates integral cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation and increased LED longevity. The LED lamp assembly is protected by a shatterproof polycarbonate lens which is secured to the housing with a waterproof seal.
LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
Six 250aH 12V 8D sealed lead acid batteries are mounted to the base of this tower to provide standalone power for the LED lamps and allows for quiet operation and 12 or more hours of run time on a single charge. The WAL-ML-RPS-4XWP60E comes with a 120V charger to allow operators to charge the light tower when it is not in use. The charger features a 25′ cord and a 5-15P cord cap. Larson Electronics is a manufacturer and as such offers a variety of custom options including different lamp wattages and types.
