Camouflage Halogen Golight Released by Larson Electronics for the 2014 Hunting Season
With over 40 years as a leader in the industrial and commercial lighting industry Larson Electronics continues its commitment to providing high grade lighting equipment to specialty markets with the release of a camouflage Golight in time for the 2014 hunting season.
The GL-2081-M from Larson Electronics is designed for use in all weather conditions and produces 1,300 lumens of intense light output. Featuring a compact size, remote control operation, and a tough camouflage finish, this Golight provides power, durability, and high efficiency that make it ideal for use on hunting vehicles and off road ATVs. This remote controlled spotlight features a 65 watt halogen bulb that draws 5 amps and has a 6.5 million candlepower rating. It produces a wide spot beam with an effective working beam of 700 feet. The tough finish on this Golight has a modern camouflage pattern that blends well with most popular camouflage designs and adds an attractive appearance as well.
The wireless remote control functions include an on/off button and four arrow buttons that control the up, down, left, and right movement of the light. The light will continue movement as long as a button is pressed. Releasing the button will stop movement and the light will hold its position until a button is depressed again. A turtle and hare button controls the speed of
the motor while the pan and tilt function buttons are depressed. Holding the button for twelve seconds in fast mode results in pinpoint accuracy at distance and is approximately 35 seconds for full rotation and twenty seconds for full range of tilt. This light is constructed of high quality ASA Luran thermoplastic that is heat resistant, impact resistant, UV resistant and able to withstand rugged use and abusive conditions. This spotlight is designed for use with 12 volt DC current and includes a 16’ cord with a cigarette plug for power. The 200 pound grip magnetic base on this unit is tested to speeds up to 85 miles per hour.
“This camouflage spotlight gives predator hunters 360 degrees of rotation and 140 degrees of tilt in a compact form factor that can be positioned with a wireless remote up to 100 feet away,” said Robert Bresnahan with Larson Electronics LarsonElectronics.com. “With high vibration resistance, wireless remote control, and small form factor, this remote control light is ideal for hogs, coyotes and other predator hunting applications.”
Larson Electronics produces a full range of industrial and commercial lighting equipment, LED spotlights, military spotlights, explosion proof lighting, and LED work lights.
