HAWE to Demonstrate Unique Modular Hydraulic Systems at IMTS

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– July 10, 2012– HAWE Hydraulics, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of sophisticated hydraulic components and controls for the mobile, industrial, and renewable energy markets will be participating in the Fluid Power Zone at the The Industrial Automation North America (IANA) trade event, which is to be co-located with IMTS 2012 in Chicago, Ill., September 10 through 15. To demonstrate the company’s unique modular approach to hydraulic systems, HAWE will be displaying compact power packs KA and HK. Both units offer plug-and-play installation to save time, energy and space in machine tooling applications, such as torque wrenches, presses, handling systems, and clamping systems.

HAWE’s popular power pack KA is an intermittent unit consisting of a housing tank, an integrated motor, a radial piston pump, and optional fan. Available in horizontal and vertical versions, the housing tank can be extended to increase the fluid volume, while a filling gauge enables the operator to observe the fluid level, even during operation. The electrical connection is integrated into the unit via a terminal box, and hydraulic control systems can be created by directly mounting various connection blocks and valve banks to the KA power pack. Options included are float and temperature switches for total system supervision. An additional auxiliary fan is also available for maximum heat management and optimum performance of the unit.

HAWE power pack HK is loaded with flexibility: it works both continuously and intermittently; it can be installed either as a horizontal or vertical unit; it’s available in three sizes; and is available with single, dual or triple circuit pumps. Similar to the KA, the HK has an integrated electrical connection, and hydraulic control systems can be created by directly mounting various connection blocks and valve banks. The HK comes with an integrated fan for cooling.

HAWE Hydraulics will also be displaying other solutions geared toward the machining industry, such as clamping modules and seated valve technologies. Visit booth number E-4436 in the IANA pavillion to learn more.
