Grizzly Releases 14″ Vertical Metal-Cutting Bandsaw

Grizzly Industrial, Inc. has released the G0970 14″ Vertical Metal-Cutting Bandsaw, which offers a 6″ maximum cutting height to easily power through a wide range of metal stock types and thicknesses.

Designed specifically for cutting metal, this saw comes equipped with a motor gear reduction drive for the slower speeds required for precision metal cutting. At 161, 270, and 378 FPM, you’ll get a smooth cut every time without overheating the blade or your workpiece.

In addition, it includes several features that increase cutting effectiveness, including long-lasting, wear-resistant tungsten carbide guide blocks, a heavy-duty cast-iron fence, a flexible LED work light, and an aluminum miter gauge for cutting accurate and consistent angles.

The ultra-flat, precision-ground cast-iron table, heavy-duty steel stand, and cast-iron wheels provide excellent stability, minimizing vibration and helping with accuracy, even for the lowest-tolerance cuts. A quick-release blade tensioner speeds up blade changes, and the dual voltage motor allows you to run it on 110V or 220V—perfect for any home-based or professional shop.
