Hard Jaws from Dillon Manufacturing Inc are designed to center the workpiece and grip it equally with each jaw. They feature diamond serrations that penetrate and drive the workpiece down which reduces part slippage and push back from using a bar feeder. The sharper the serrations, the greater the penetration, and conversely, the larger the serration flat the less the top jaw will penetrate. Manufactured of 8620 steel, case hardened, and coated with black oxide for corrosion resistance, the hard jaws provide long jaw life and greater precision with ground locating services. They are available in different mounting configurations including serrated, T&G, Acme, and square serrated key types to fit all brands of chucks. Dillon chuck jaws are very versatile with multiple radiuses for both inside and outside clamping making then ideal for any size run. In addition to standard jaw designs, Dillon also offers custom, special, or modified hard jaws with industry-best turnaround time, which saves time and money by reducing down-time.
