Evolution:
For the last 23 years Thermacut’s core business has been the direct replacement of spare parts, consumables, torch heads and lead sets for plasma cutting/welding, oxy-fuel cutting consumables with additional product offerings for MIG/MAG and TIG/WIG manual welding and sold under the “Advanced Consumable” slogan since 2005. Although Thermacut will continue to provide unique and advanced replacement products for the thermal cutting market, our core business is evolving.
Laser Cutting Consumables:
In 2012 the Thermacut Group purchased HOLMA® AG, a producer of premium quality laser consumables including OEM brands such as Amada®, Bystronic®, Trumpf® etc….and in 2013 relocated the production of these consumables to our Czech facility. At this time Thermacut Inc. is actively promoting both the Bystronic® and Trumpf® line of consumables in the USA and Canada, and will add additional OEM brands in 2014.
Plasma Cutting Systems:
Our initial introduction featured both a 105 and a 125 amp system at the SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN Exposition in 2013, where Thermacut will also have the 65 and 85 amp systems on display. During 2014 the complete line of plasma systems up to 65 mm (2.6 inches) cutting thickness, will be rolled out on a planned basis, which will range from 30 amps to 145 amps. This change will mark a major commitment to our valued customers and thrust Thermacut into the ranks of a full line plasma OEM. These systems are only available in Eastern and Western Europe at this time.
