PFERD INC., a global manufacturer and distributor of abrasives, brushes and power tools, has announced the appointment of Tim Lee to the position of Technical Sales Specialist—Steel Works. The announcement was made by Gene Huegin, president.
In this position, Lee will be responsible for working with customers on their cutting requirements, particularly large diameter cutoff wheels, which range from 10-78” in diameter and are used primarily in foundries. He brings over 20 years’ experience to the position and will report directly to Huegin.
According to Huegin, “The large cutoff wheel market is important to PFERD in the U.S. We have long held a leadership position in Europe with this type of product and Tim’s appointment will add emphasis to our efforts to assist customers here in the States. He brings the kind of experience that our customers will find very valuable to their strategic planning.”
Lee added, “I’m excited about this opportunity with PFERD. I hope to use my knowledge and experience to provide PFERD customers with sound advice on their large diameter cutoff wheel needs. I look forward to that challenge.”
