CNC machine tool manufacturer Okuma announces event schedule for lunch and learns, open houses, and partner events. These educational events are meant to educate CNC users on the latest technology available and how it can help enhance their overall productivity.

Okuma America Corporation will host several events this summer including the regularly scheduled lunch and learn series, an open house, and other educational events featuring members of Partners in THINC. These events will showcase the existing CNC machine tool and control technology and give attendees the opportunity to see new technology that will help them become more efficient.

July 17, Technology for Today & Beyond ̶ hosted in conjunction with Hartwig Houston, at the Okuma Tech Center

Chicago:
July 24, THINC Open-Architecture Lunch & Learn ̶ hosted in conjunction with Morris Midwest, at the Okuma Tech Center

Charlotte:
July 24, Velocity/SU-matic Event ̶ hosted in conjunction with Morris South, at the Partners in THINC facility.

Technology for Today & Beyond (Houston) will focus on giving attendees the opportunity to meet with industry experts and learn about the latest technology and how it can help increase productivity while maintaining lean operations. Members of Partners in THINC will be on-hand displaying peripheral equipment that can help contribute to the overall efficiency of attendees’ machines. THINC Open-Architecture Lunch & Learn (Chicago) will concentrate on educating attendees on the latest control software including the OSP-P300. Velocity/SU-matic (Charlotte) partner event will give attendees the opportunity to speak with tooling experts and learn about hobbing tool technology, half index tooling, and tooling kits.
