Breckers Cutting Tools of Roseville, Mich., officially opens as a KOMET SERVICE® Partner
KOMET of America, Inc. and Breckers Cutting Tools held an official grand opening ceremony to mark the start of their KOMET SERVICE® Partnership. Breckers Cutting Tools is now licensed to refurbish KOMET solid carbide tools, as well as to manufacture KOMET special solid carbide tools. The location of KOMET’s newest SERVICE Partner, just outside Detroit, firmly entrenches the KOMET SERVICE network in the world’s automotive capital, ensuring that auto suppliers have ready access to KOMET-quality carbide tool refurbishment.
KOMET of America, Inc. and Breckers Cutting Tools recently hosted a grand opening event to officially commence their KOMET SERVICE® Partnership. In addition to the ceremony, guests toured the Breckers facility, saw live demonstrations of the shop equipment in action.
The addition of Breckers Cutting Tools is an example of the explosive growth that KOMET SERVICE has experienced in North America recently. KOMET SERVICE now has 20 Partners in Europe and 10 in North America, and Breckers Cutting Tools, located just outside of Detroit, represents a key segment of the network.

While the well-attended open house was only one evening, the preparation leading up to the event has been months in the making. The KOMET SERVICE team from KOMET of America and Breckers Cutting Tools have been working together to train technicians and operators in the Roseville, Mich., shop and develop a market strategy. This spirit of collaboration and cooperation is integral to the KOMET SERVICE philosophy.
Breckers Cutting Tools is starting the partnership in earnest and with excitement. Chelsey Gumro, Chief Marketing Officer at Breckers, explained, “Now that the excitement of the grand opening has passed, it’s all about generating results.
