Los Angeles-based Kahn Tools, an online distributor that exclusively sells American made industrial and MRO (maintenance, repair and operation) supplies, has announced a partnership with St. Louis Pneumatic to promote their industrial-quality American made pneumatic die grinders as part of their commitment to the Year of American Made (#YOAM).
So many companies have taken to outsourcing their manufacturing overseas, or importing all or part of their products from foreign manufacturers. As a result, it has become increasingly difficult to find American made industrial and MRO supplies that were made here just a few years ago. With a shrinking manufacturing base, many U.S. product manufacturers are having difficulty staying afloat with fewer customers to sell to.
Kahn Tools has declared 2014 the Year of American Made to help manufacturers and their workers get back on their feet. According to Kahn Tools founder and CEO Mark Kahn, “The partnership with St. Louis Pneumatic is just the beginning.”
