Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence today announced that President Norbert Hanke will challenge manufacturers to ‘Rethink Quality’ in his keynote address at HxGN LIVE 2018. The Manufacturing Intelligence track opening presentation will explore key enablers of the Smart Factory, including the transformative potential of managing quality throughout the product lifecycle to drive manufacturing productivity. Guest speaker Dr. Michael Grieves, Executive Director of the Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Innovative Design (CAMID) at the Florida Institute of Technology, will consider some of the misnomers around quality and propose a new way of thinking to drive smarter, more productive ways of producing products with superior customer value. Norbert Hanke will explore how technology is breaking down process silos and enabling shared responsibility for quality to improve productivity. Finally, Brian Shepherd, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence’s Senior Vice President Software Solutions, will demonstrate how smart manufacturing principles are becoming a reality and highlight the value of digital transformation to the industry.
HxGN LIVE 2018 takes place June 12 – 15 at The Venetian, Las Vegas, NV.
