Scott Fosdick is GF Machining’s New Head of Americas Region
Company promotes from within for new president
GF Machining Solutions has appointed Scott Fosdick as its new Head of Market Region Americas. Previously the company’s Segment Manager for Aerospace and Automotive Asia, U.S.-born Fosdick takes over for former region president Glynn Fletcher.
Fosdick holds a degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Colorado. He started his career in Japan as a development engineer for a Japanese machine tool company. Fosdick joined GF Machining Solutions, previously known as Agie Charmilles, in 1994. He successfully worked for technical service in Japan before taking over the position of Service Manager for Asia. In 2001, Fosdick became the President of Agie Charmilles South China and achieved outstanding results until he left the company in 2007.
In the following years, Fosdick further expanded his knowledge and experience in the aerospace market. He returned to GF Machining Solutions in May 2013 as Market Segment Manager for Aerospace and Automotive in Asia, prior to his most recent promotion to the position of Head of Market Region Americas.
