Enshu to Introduce the GE40H Horizontal Machining Center at IMTS 2018

Enshu USA is pleased to introduce the GE40H Horizontal Machining Center at IMTS 2018. Compact and nimble, the GE40H is perfect for secondary operations and die cast processing. Although, with its standard ram-type 33.5 HP 12,000 RPM Big Plus/CAT40 taper spindle, it has enough power to take on jobs usually done on much larger machines.

The 500mm (19.7”) axis travels (X, Y, Z) plus a full 4th (B) axis, give the GE40H great flexibility for small to mid-size parts machining. The GE40H arrives ready to achieve high production volumes with standard features such as a FANUC 31iMB Control, 400mm pallets, rotary automatic pallet changer and a 40-tool capacity magazine.

With dimensions of 180” x 112” x 139”, the GE40H can simply be used as a standalone machine or as multiples in a lean line production environment. This allows customers with limited floor space to maximize their productivity and output.

“With the same travels and horse power as higher level machines, the GE40H performs like a small platform sports car with a V-8 engine installed under the hood,” said Mike Germann, Enshu’s National Sales Manager. “And yet, despite its many standard features and performance potential, it still comes at a competitive price.”
