The Dimetix DLS-C laser distance sensor measures reliably with millimeter precision and can be networked together with other laser units to monitor material levels. The DLS-C laser measures reliably on a variety of materials, such as plastic pellets, sand, gravel, road salt, white or colored plastic granulate, as well as on dry or wet gravel. Level measurements at distances far beyond 30m are well within the range of the DLS-C, which features a rugged, IP65 rated aluminum case with a DB15 interface. Serial RS232/RS422 and a scalable 4-20 mA analog signal outputs are standard, and an optional heater element is available to help withstand cold weather extremes to -40⁰C/F.
