Strong performance, innovative work in 2012 earns national recognition for local agency.
For the fourth consecutive year, dgs Marketing Engineers has been named to BtoB’s annual list of top business-to-business agencies. The 2012 list was made public in the magazine’s March 4th issue. dgs earned recognition in the small agency category, which consists of companies with annual revenue of up to $10 million. dgs was one of only two Indiana agencies to be recognized on this year’s list.
BtoB selects agencies for its annual list by considering factors that include percentage of revenues that are business-to-business, revenue growth, new client acquisitions, innovative work and expanded service acquisitions. Focused exclusively on business-to-business marketing of products for technically minded people, dgs added several clients to its portfolio in 2012, including DP Technology (Camarillo, CA), the world leader in high-performance, full-spectrum CAM software, Sherry Labs (Daleville, IN), a leading testing laboratory and the Reshoring Initiative (Kildeer, IL), an industry-led effort to bring manufacturing jobs back to the United States. In response to increased client need and as part of the agency’s growth strategy, dgs also expanded its digital media and video service offering in the last year.
As part of the selection process, BtoB considered multiple successful advertising campaigns that dgs developed for clients in 2012, including workforce development initiatives for OMAX Corporation (Kent, WA) and Seco Tools (Troy, MI), as well as integrated marketing campaigns for Mazak Corporation (Florence, KY) and Seco Tools. These campaigns successfully achieved their intended objectives and positioned the companies as thought leaders in their respective spaces.
