Curt Biehn Receives 2019 Reinhold Lifetime Achievement Award

Curt Biehn, Mississippi Lime Company (MLC) Flue Gas Treatment (FGT) Business Director was honored recently with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 Reinhold Conference in Birmingham, AL.

Curt has worked for MLC for nearly 12 years. During that time, he has been recognized as an instrumental resource for the coal-fired utility industry. Prior to joining MLC, Curt worked for Elementis Pigments and Afton Chemical. He earned a master’s degree in organic chemistry from The Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville.

In Curt’s current role, he has oversight for MLC’s business development, product development and applications technology for all FGT-related opportunities. Curt holds three patents that highlight the value that he has brought to provide novel, cost-effective acid-gas control technologies to the industry.
