Cincinnati Incorporated To Showcase New Machines, Hendrick Motorsports Partnership at FABTECH

Cincinnati Incorporated (CI), a U.S.-based, build-to-order machine tool manufacturer, will showcase its latest machines at FABTECH 2019 in Chicago, booths A2973 (fabrication) and A3839 (additive). Hendrick Motorsports’ #88 car, driven by Alex Bowman, will also be on display at the show.

Hendrick Motorsports, 12-time NASCAR Cup Series champions, recently welcomed CI as an official partner with a team-record 10-year agreement that runs from 2019 through 2028. In addition to being named Hendrick Motorsports’ Official Metal Fabrication and Additive Equipment Provider, CI will become a full-season associate sponsor of the team’s entire four-car stable for the next decade.

“We are absolutely thrilled to begin this relationship with Hendrick Motorsports,” said Rakesh Kumar, vice president of sales, service, and marketing for Cincinnati Inc., which was founded in the 1890s. “Rick Hendrick’s teams have a long and storied history of winning at every level. We are proud to be associated with that incredible record and partner with another enduring American brand.”

In booth A2973, four CI machines will share FABTECH booth space with the #88 car: The CLX laser, the Hyform, and AFX press brakes and the Roboform cell. In booth A3839, the high-temperature Small Area Additive Manufacturing (SAAM HT) machine will be on display, and the company’s Medium Area Additive Manufacturing (MAAM) machine will make its public debut.

The CLX is an all-new, from-the-ground-up fiber laser cutting machine that was built for the automation-minded metal fabricator. The Hyform is an energy-efficient, environmentally conscious and operator-friendly hybrid press brake that runs quietly in high production environments. The AFX is a reconfigured version of the popular Autoform press brake with robust features at a competitive price. The SAAM offers continuous, unattended operation for high capacity 3D printing, including 3D printed press brake tooling. Finally, the Roboform is a robotic cell featuring the GoForm and allows seamless transition from an automated cell to manual operation.

“We’re ready to get to FABTECH and show the fabricating world what we’ve been up to in the past year,” said Matt Garbarino, director of marketing communications at CI. “Walking through our facility, you can feel the energy and see the production happening. It’s exciting and it’s contagious, and we can’t wait to share it.”
