CNC GEAR AF110
The AF110 is equipped with a Leste CNC control that was developed and customized by Affolter specifically for gear manufacturing applications. This machine is designed for high productivity:
- up to 12 axes with guaranteed high processing power (rapid interpolation)
- high machining speed, spindle up to 16,000 rpm
- customized loading options
- Programming is simple and user-friendly
Affolter offers four different types of CNC gear hobbing machines to manufacture spur, helical, face, bevel, and crowned gears on wheels, shafts and pinions, as well as worm screws. They handle a wide range of micro-gear cutting for the micro-mechanical, automotive, aerospace, medical and dental industries. The machines can handle a module range of up to 17 DP in steel, a machining length of up to 3.54 inches and a maximum diameter of 2.36 inches.
