Team Penske driver Brad Keselowski to share his insights on “Winning the Manufacturing Race”
Mazak, long-time machine tool technical sponsor for legendary racing organization Team Penske, is proud to present team driver Brad Keselowski as a guest speaker at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) 2017 trade show. His talk, entitled “Winning the Manufacturing Race,” will take place in room 204 of Indianapolis’ Indiana Convention Center at 9:00 a.m. on December 8. The event will be free and open to all show exhibitors and attendees.
Keselowski, a seven-year veteran of Team Penske and one of only four NASCAR drivers to have won both the Cup Series and Xfinity Series championships, will discuss his unique perspective on the similarities between the worlds of racing and manufacturing through the lens of the partnership between Mazak and Team Penske. He will describe how Mazak 
and Penske work together to develop the cutting-edge technologies needed to win in motorsports, including times when the companies’ collaborative efforts have improved his own performance on the track.
“At a recent event for team sponsors and their customers held at Penske Racing, Brad gave an impromptu talk as a surprise for all of us, and it was incredible,” said Brian Papke, chairman of Mazak. “He really understands how racing and manufacturing are all about the pace of innovation and technical achievement, and we’re thrilled that he’ll be sharing that talk with the audience at PRI.”
In addition to Keselowski’s appearance, Mazak will host live machine demonstrations at the three-day trade show in Yellow Hall’s Machinery Row at booth 5755. The company will demonstrate its automation solutions and the capabilities of its most advanced machine tools. Applications engineers will also be on hand to discuss ways to reduce cycle times, maintain part consistency and boost productivity in fast-paced manufacturing and performance racing environments.
