Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division today announced it will co-host a HxGN LOCAL Canada event for two days on November 19 and 20 at Amrikart Ultraprecision in Brossard, Quebec, Canada. The open house agenda delivers an up close and personal look at Hexagon’s most innovative metrology technologies available today. Guests can take advantage of one-on-one discussions with Hexagon experts, get insider tips and personal product demonstrations, and learn best practices in the industrial dimensional measurement field. Manufacturers interested in automating measurement processes with stationary or portable metrology options will also have a chance to meet with Hexagon’s automated measurement solutions group for personal consultations.
This lunch and learn event will be held for two consecutive days at Amrikart Ultraprecision’s headquarters. The program agenda is the same for both dates. From 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., event attendees are welcomed with opening remarks, a brief Hexagon overview, and given presentations of new-to-market technologies and automated solutions using state-of-the-art coordinate measuring machine (CMM) technology and laser trackers. After lunch, attendees will be introduced to advanced motion solutions and learn “What’s New” in PC-DMIS inspection software. The event will conclude with free time for interactive question and answer sessions with experts until 4 p.m.
HxGN LOCAL attendees will have a variety of product demonstrations to choose from including the GLOBAL 7.10.7 SF CMM, the GLOBAL 5.7.5 in an automated environment, the all-new Absolute Arm with RS5 Laser Scanner, the Leica Absolute Tracker AT960 with LAS-XL Laser Scanner, the AICON PrimeScan, and automated solutions with the Leica Absolute Tracker AT960. Also on hand will be the UR5 and UR10 robot, courtesy of Advanced Motion & Controls.
