As the industry’s total solutions provider of advanced abrasive waterjet technology, OMAX Corporation will showcase the high-speed, high-precision cutting performance of its precision OMAX and versatile MAXIEM® machines and accessories at FABTECH 2012 in booth C3940, taking place November 12 – 14 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
From the OMAX line, show attendees will see live cutting demonstrations on the best-selling bridge-style 80X JetMachining® Center, which has an X-Y cutting travel of 13 feet 4 inches x 6 feet 8 inches. The machine will be paired with the latest Intelli-MAX® 18 Software Suite, including the Intelli-VISOR™ System Monitoring Package, a 50 hp EnduroMAX® Pump, A-Jet® articulated cutting head and Rotary Axis.
The company’s latest version of its intuitive Intelli-MAX Software Suite includes new features for advanced six-axis 3D machining, while the new Intelli-VISORSystem Monitoring Package allows operators to monitor the performance of their OMAX JetMachining Center through detailed messages and alerts. The EnduroMAX Pump has double the operating life of competitive designs and makes for faster part processing, lower operating costs and easier maintenance. Furthermore, the 80X, A-Jet and Rotary Axis together provide six-axis capability to cut complex 3D parts and prep tube and pipe for welding.
FABTECH attendees will also experience the high-performance cutting capabilities of the MAXIEM 1530 paired with a 40 hp direct drive pump, Motorized Z-Axis and Material Work Holding Kit. This machine is ideal for cutting a wide variety of materials and part sizes with an X-Y cutting travel area of 10 feet 2 inches x 5 feet 2 inches. Cutting speeds are faster because of the high-efficiency MAXIEM direct drive pump and patented controller software, and the Motorized Z-Axis provides precise nozzle positioning. Additionally, booth visitors will witness how the company’s Material Work Holding Kit easily and quickly secures material in place for cutting.
With its diverse offerings from the OMAX and MAXIEM lines, OMAX Corporation offers the broadest range of table sizes, pumps, accessories, software and support on the market. Furthermore, the company’s abrasive waterjet technology provides a flexible and beneficial alternative to conventional machining operations for a wide variety of materials, industries and shop sizes.
