The belt can flat sand while the disc can be used to fine tune. With Palmgren’s single handle quick release system, the grinding belts can be changed, tool free, in seconds and the adhesive discs also can be quickly swapped out. The belt arm tilts from 0-90° quickly to change between grinding applications. Palmgren designed its belt and disc machines with direct drive, so the finishing belt is attached directly to the motor making it difficult to stall.
