Suburban Tool, Inc., a well-known manufacturer in the toolmaking industry for their high precision, high-quality tools for toolmakers announced today the addition of a lightweight Aluminum Straight Edge “Master-Edge ™” to complement their existing line of successful Cast Iron Straight Edges.
The all-new Master-Edge ™ Aluminum Straight Edges will offer the same high precision, high quality as Suburban’s Cast Iron Straight Edge at approximately 50% of the weight, making it ideal for applications where the weight of a Cast Iron product might be prohibited.
These new Aluminum Straight Edges are made from 6063 extruded aluminum in a modified I Beam profile for maximum rigidity and ease of handling. The straight edges are precision ground to Suburban’s exacting standards.
