WIRE 2020 Heading for New Exhibitor Record

Six months before the start of wire and Tube 2020, the two international No. 1 trade fairs for the wire, cable, tube and pipe industries, exhibitor registration is very strong. As global information and business platforms for the key players in these industries, wire and Tube attract over 2,500 exhibitors from all over the world. The events will take place from March 30 – April 3, 2020 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Exhibitor registration for wire 2020 is very positive at this early stage, already exceeding the final exhibitor numbers of 2018. Strong increase from Turkey, India and Taiwan has been recorded. In addition solid participation from the traditional exhibitor nations Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Central and Eastern Europe points to new record exhibitor figures for next year.

“The registration figures for wire 2020, which are very promising so far, confirm that our exhibitors refuse to be influenced by global economic fluctuations in this industry,” explained Daniel Ryfisch, Deputy Director Metals and Flow Technologies at Messe Düsseldorf.

wire 2020 will present technical innovations in halls 9 to 17 on currently 662,600 square feet of net exhibition space. This is an excellent result about six months ahead of the trade fair. wire 2018 occupied 702,000 square feet net.

Exhibitors will display machinery and equipment for wire manufacturing and finishing, process technology tools and auxiliaries, raw materials, glass fibre technologies, special wires and cables as well as measuring and control equipment and inspection engineering.

Mesh welding machinery will be located in Hall 15, spring making technology and products as well as fasteners and finished products will be on show in Halls 16 to 17.
