Following the annual suppliers evaluations, foreseen in the ISO 9001/2008 quality system, THYSSEN KRUPP have assigned to DAVI the “A” figure as the HIGHEST QUALITY SUPPLIER DEGREE. This is only the last achievement in quality recognition received by DAVI, thanks to the continuous efforts to improve quality in its plate roll.
Thyssen Krupp purchased, through repetitive orders, four DAVI plate roll in ten years, for its facility in South America, with capacity up to 75 mm thickness, to bend the anti-abrasive steel XAR (Hardox), used to produce special truck bodies, to be used in the copper mines.
“The four machines are working since many years without any breakdown – says Orazio Davi, President –, even if subject to intensive use in three daily shifts, seven days per week. The minimal maintenance need of our permanent lubrication plate roll, allowed THYSSEN to satisfy the intensive production planning, one of the main factor that let assigning us the “A” quality degree”.
