GROB Systems Partners with FactoryWiz Monitoring to Utilize MTConnect
MTConnect Partner, Refresh Your Memory Inc., developer of FactoryWiz™ Monitoring & DNC will be demonstrating software technology that supports Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT) with partner GROB Systems in the South Hall booth #8574 and RYM booth #3363 in the East Hall at IMTS 2016 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, September 12-17, 2016.
With Industry 4.0 on our doorstep, GROB Systems has partnered with FactoryWiz Monitoring to demonstrate live connectivity and data collection that provide Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) on any web enabled device anywhere in the world.
REAL-TIME MONITORING
GROB Systems will use FactoryWiz Monitoring software from Refresh Your Memory Inc. to show machine status on the screen near G550 PSS-R. This machine will be connected live and paired with other virtual machines to demonstrate the benefits of “Smart Factory” shop floor monitoring.
MTConnect®
All GROB Systems machines are MTConnect compatible and provide real-time information available at any time. MTConnect® is simply a communications standard, or protocol, for data compatibility exchange. When a GROB Systems machining center is connected with FactoryWiz Monitoring software utilizing the MTConnect protocol, performance metrics along with live data and reports will be instantly displayed on large-screen TV dashboards, Tablets, PC’s, Smart Phones or any other web-enabled device.
