Precision Application of Controlled Droplet Sizes with Rotary Atomizers from Micron Sprayers

Micron Sprayers Introduces New Rotary Atomiser Spray Technology

Micron Sprayers, established more than 60 years ago, are world renowned specialists in the design of rotary atomizers. Producing precisely controlled droplet sizes which can be selected according to application requirements, Micron atomizers offer a low maintenance and low energy spraying technology.

Micron’s industrial range use brushless motor technology for prolonged and maintenance free operation. Two models are available, a larger unit with flow capacities of up to 180 litres per hour and the compact Micromiser unit with spray rates of up to 18 litres per hour. Spray droplet size can be controlled by rotational speed and can typically be selected anywhere within the range 40-400µm. Micron’s atomizers do not require high liquid pressures, compressed air or small orifices.

The newly developed sectorial Micromiser unit offers the same benefits of rotary atomization but delivered in a continuous fan spray.

Alongside spray coating, applications include rinsing, cooling, wetting (moistening), humidification and odou and dust control.
