The Model G0824  14″ x 40″ Big Bore Gunsmithing Lathe from Grizzly Industrial, Inc. has a huge 2″ spindle bore – the largest of any of our 14″ x 40″ lathes – perfect for gunsmithing larger diameter barrels. It also includes one of the finest X/Z-axis DROs on the market today. It’s jam-packed with other great features: an 8-speed gearhead for spindle speeds from 70–2000 RPM, a D1-5 camlock spindle, 200-series quick-change tool post, flood coolant system, LED worklight, pull-out chip tray, ball-bearing steady and follow rests, cast iron stand, and safety foot brake! To top it off, the outboard end of the spindle has a “spider” mount system – great for stabilizing long shafts and rifle barrels.
