Capital Machine to Host OMAX® Dallas Demo Days

See first-hand how easy it is to operate an OMAX Waterjet at Capital Machine Technologies Inc.’s Dallas Demo Days. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to evaluate the latest waterjet cutting technology by securing a free one-on-one session. Experience the versatility of waterjet with the MAXIEM 1530 JetMachining Centers®. The event is to be held November 17th-19th on an appointment-only basis.

From prototype development or full-scale production, the MAXIEM 1530 can do it all. With a cutting area of 10 feet by 5 feet 2 inches, the rigid tank design is scaled to handle common plate sizes with room to spare. The advanced linear motion system uses digital linear encoders to provide instant accurate cutting head position feedback to the controller to assure precise part production. MAXIEM waterjets are easily customizable for a shop’s specific needs.

The IntelliTRAX® linear drive system on the MAXIEM 1530 utilizes brushless servo motors, integrated servo drives and high precision linear encoders to provide constant and continuous feedback on the actual cutting head position. The drive system moves the nozzle in a fast, smooth manner along the X-Y axis, resulting in an accuracy of motion as tight as +/- 0.003″.

OMAX offers the broadest range of table sizes, pumps, accessories, software and support on the market. Moreover, the company’s abrasive waterjet technology provides a flexible and beneficial alternative to conventional machining operations. With OMAX waterjet technology, manufacturers can accomplish quick turnaround of accurate parts without the hassle of tool changes or complex fixturing, as well as achieve smooth surface finishes without the need for secondary machining.

Attendees of the event will explore the advancements in waterjet machining in their own dedicated time slot. Each attendee will be required to follow local safety regulations as it pertains to social distancing and the usage of masks. Additional measures may be required the day of the show.
