BHC to stock and sell DOWCLENE™ 1601 in North America

BHC (Brulin) and SAFECHEM are partnering to supply North America with DOWCLENE™ 1601 solvent. Being centrally located in the U.S. and fully stocking product, BHC will provide nationwide distribution and customer support with its regional Process Specialists. This means obtaining and using DOWCLENE 1601 in North America has just become easier.

DOWCLENE 1601 is a virgin, high-performance modified alcohol solvent with both non-polar and polar properties. Produced synthetically, it is especially formulated to meet the high requirements of precision parts cleaning in vacuum vapor degreasing systems.

Since 1935 BHC has provided the sales and support of degreasing chemistries for precision parts cleaning, and this most recent contract with SAFECHEM expands the lineup of solvent based cleaning options.

“As the world-renowned modified alcohol, the addition of the DOWCLENE 1601 (the original modified alcohol) to our product line will give our precision cleaning customers a Sustainable Solvent Solution to the rapidly growing vacuum vapor degreasing market.” – Jeff Beard, BHC Business Development Manager.
