Fronius Presents TPS/i CMT EuroBLECH 2016

At EuroBLECH in Hanover, Fronius will be presenting another highlight of the latest generation of power sources: the TPS/i CMT. Industry professionals and interested parties alike will be able to witness the highly dynamic welding process – and the world’s most stable arc that it produces – from 25-29 October on Fronius Stand F174 in Hall 13. With Virtual Welding TIG, TransPocket 150/180, the PullMig CMT TPS/i welding torch and LaserHybrid Twin, a world of discovery awaits visitors to the Fronius stand.

EuroBLECH will see the technology leader unveil its latest product highlight to the wider public for the first time. The legendary CMT process is being made available as an upgrade for the TPS/i for both manual and robot- assisted welding. Thanks to Fronius, users can now enjoy the most stable arc in the world with absolutely minimal spatter. What’s more, instead of a “just cold” arc, the heat input can now be continuously adjusted from cold to hot.

Also on display on the exhibition stand is the PullMig welding torch developed for the TPS/i CMT, which has an extremely high arc-force dynamic. Its robust design and ergonomic handling add to the allure, while a stainless steel outer pipe provides for maximum stability. Virtual Welding has not escaped the attention of the development engineers either, with TIG training now possible on the welding simulation platform too.

“To make the good better”. Nowhere is this more apparent than with the next generation of devices for MMA welding: the TransPocket 150/180 power sources. A digitised and intelligent resonance system enables a faster control response, leading to improved ignition, less spatter and a highly stable arc. Speed is the name of the game when it comes to the LaserHybrid Twin: the high performance welding process is perfect for maximum welding speeds with materials up to 4 mm thick and unbeatable gap-bridging ability.
