Cosen Saws Hires New Service Operations Manager

Cosen Band Saws, a leading bandsaw manufacturer, and developer of MechaLogix, has announced that Bob Meier has been hired as service operations manager. With over thirty years of experience, Meier has worked in all phases of the bandsaw manufacturing process including assembly of production and special machines, production management, research and development, and service management. A graduate of the Dunwoody College of Technology’s Automotive Division, Meier also has a strong background of leadership training and multiple courses in hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic troubleshooting techniques.

Besides working in the Bandsaw industry, Meier has worked in the medical industry producing high-speed assembly equipment for B&D (Becton Dickinson), as well as the door and window industry producing large automated sawing equipment for companies such as Anderson, Pella, Marvin, among others.
