Cosen Saws Announces Tony Leitner as New Director of Service Operations

Cosen Band Saws, a leading bandsaw manufacturer and developer MechaLogix, announced Tony Leitner has taken the position of director of service operations. Tony comes from a background of 24 years with Earle M. Jorgensen. Mr. Leitner had worked with the company since he was 19 years old. For twenty of those years, he worked within the Schaumburg, Illinois facility. The first three were spent working in the shop, and 17 as assistant plant manager in charge of production cutting and full bar orders. Afterwards, he moved to the Charlotte facility where he spent four years as Quality Administrator for three branches (ISO 9001:2015), safety coordinator for four branches, handled building maintenance, scheduling machine maintenance, and negotiated pricing with vendors on consumables and labor rate for repairs.

Tony says that he is excited about working with Cosen for a new adventure with a solid company, “I believe I can bring some good ideas to the company after being on the purchasing end for so many years”
